The owners of this two-story townhouse came to Svetlana Saprykina with a clear request for a warm design in natural textures and shades with accent decor and living greenery. The starting points for the visual concept were a Georgian carpet brought from the clients' travels and paintings from the family collection. The background for them were light-painted walls and warm wood floors. The laconic finish leaves room for creativity, and due to the abundance of family artifacts, the interior will continue to evolve over time. Art and decor for the project were selected from Medium.galleri.

The townhouse windows overlook two sides of the house, so the central rooms turned out to be quite dark. We wanted to let in more natural light, but the load-bearing walls limited the possibilities for redevelopment. However, a small transformation was possible. In addition, the staircase area was redesigned. Its change made it possible to allocate a spacious hall with an ascent to the second level on the first floor. The project also included a comfortable hallway with a dressing room, from where the customers can go to the combined kitchen-living room. The functional place for cooking there was taken out to a remote niche. The main accent in it was the open sections for decor: memorable vases and mugs brought from trips. The transition to the soft group here was marked by the contrast of floor coverings: practical gray porcelain stoneware is replaced by a warm parquet board. The relaxed mood in the living room is set by textured details - chopped stone on the fireplace portal, a carpet with an ethnic print and decorative pillows. There are no TVs in the cottage, but their absence becomes noticeable only during long-term visits by guests. The living space appeared especially cozy thanks to custom-made details. For example, the owner of the house made the panel in the dining room herself, and Svetlana Saprykina made the lamp. The second floor is occupied by private rooms - a master block, a nursery, an office, a laundry room and a boiler room. A huge window became a real decoration of the second bathroom, which allowed to add live plants to the design. Their large foliage visually connects the interior with the forest, breaking the border with the exterior. To achieve the same effect in the bedroom, the team widened the window opening and framed it with wooden slopes.
