The Christened Seawolf X catamaran, Rossinavi's latest design, operates with zero emissions and combines a hybrid propulsion system with next-generation artificial intelligence. Crafted entirely from lightweight aluminum, the 43-meter-long body features sculpted lines and a sleek sports car profile.
“We imagined a boat of the future, unbound by conventions, but realized with cutting-edge technology for minimal environmental impact,” said designer Fulvio De Simoni.
Seawolf X is part of the Italian shipyard's recently launched Blue series. Inspired by the way phytoplankton use sunlight for energy, the creators of the Blue hybrid-electric cruisers designed a system that powers the engines using solar panels.
Rossinavi says the catamaran can travel in all-electric mode 100% of the time on day trips, 90% on multi-day tours and 80% on transatlantic trips. In addition, the sleep mode feature reduces power consumption while the boat is at anchor so that any excess power generated can be transferred to shore. “In fact, Seawolf X delivers enough energy to charge an entire villa,” the manufacturer claims. The model is also equipped with two diesel generators that can quickly charge the batteries.
Seawolf X is powered by an artificial intelligence system. Described as “a brain that can learn from observation and predict the needs of guests on board,” Rossinavi’s AI limits the yacht’s environmental impact. More traditional features of the property include a party cabana by the pool, a spacious terrace, and a bow area with an indoor pool and home cinema. “This yacht demonstrates remarkable innovation in both energy management and propulsion technology, marking the beginning of a new chapter in shipbuilding,” adds the company’s chief operating officer Federico Rossi.
