Untitled is an exhibition at FRANCIS GALLERY in Los Angeles. It features works by Garcé Dimofski, a Portuguese studio, and JAMESPLUMB from London. James Russell and Hannah Plumb focus on found materials and aged surfaces. Their work explores history, permanence, and preservation. Often, they present their pieces in diptychs and triptychs. This method is also seen in the practice of Clio Dimofski and Olivier Garcé, who use brass and pewter. According to the gallery team, both duos create objects that exist ‘in between.’ These objects blur boundaries between voices, disciplines, categories, and environments. They challenge the divide between the individual and the collective.
